DESCRIPTION:Join Dakota Lakes Research Farm for a tour of the Eisenbraun Farm Partnership\, which has been farming and ranching on the same ground near Wall\, SD\, for seven generations. The tour will feature stops at a milo field\, the operation’s compost pile (from the Fall River Feedlot)\, and the shop. \nScot and Tyrel Eisenbraun will discuss the following topics: \n\nCrop diversification to benefit the soil and the bottom line\nCover crops for grazing and ground cover\nUsing compost\nIntegrating cattle on cropland\nAir seeder and corn planter: No-tilling in a semi-arid environment\n\nMeal to follow the program\, provided by Eisenbraun Cattle Company.
