Megan Stiefvater

Soil Health Intern

My name is Megan Stiefvater, and I grew up on our family farm near Salem, SD. Our diversified farm consists of a variety of crops, soil health practices, and a cow/calf operation. Growing up, I was involved in numerous activities including 4-H and FFA. Working on the farm and participating in these activities has truly helped me develop a passion for the agricultural industry.

I am currently attending South Dakota State University for a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Sciences and Agricultural Leadership with minors in Animal Science and Ag Business. At SDSU, I am involved in various ag organizations such as Little International, Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow, Collegiate 4-H, and Dairy Club, as well as serve as a College of Agriculture, Food, and Environmental Sciences Ambassador. I am excited about the various opportunities and learning experiences that lie ahead.
