Growing Smarter: Research for Resilient Farms

The USDA Agriculture Research Service will host its 32nd Annual Field Day – Growing Smarter: Research for Resilient Farms on July 8 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. CDT at the Eastern South Dakota Soil and Water Research Farm (3714 Western Ave, Brookings, SD 57006).

This free event will include a plot tour and research talks focusing on sunflower production and building healthy cropping systems. The event will conclude with lunch at noon. Directions
Take exit 133 from I-29 for US-14 Bypass toward Volga/Arlington, drive 4.2 miles to 470th Ave/Western Ave, turn right onto 470th Ave/Western Ave, drive 1.6 miles to the Research Farm /Field Day location on the right.
