Directions: From Mitchell, north on Hwy 37 (6 miles from Ford Dealership), turn east on 246th Street until dead end.
Hear from the landowner and conservation professionals regarding:
• Pasture management along the James River.
• Managing with a prescribed burn, walk a pasture burned earlier this year.
• Prescribed burning impacts on plant diversity, including Red Cedars.
• Get informed about Red Cedars and current research.
