Roscoe Prescribed Fire Class

This is an introductory 3 hours of instruction that will address the principles, planning, ignition, and safe mop-up and monitoring of a prescribed fire. This class is for anyone with an interest in prescribed fire including the public, producers pasturing livestock, volunteer fire departments, or anyone with an interest in grassland ecosystems. Southeast Dakota Prescribed Fire members and potential future members are especially encouraged to attend.
