Soil Health School

The 2022 South Dakota Soil Health School will be hosted Aug. 31-Sept. 2 on the Bruce Carlson and Anthony Bly farms near Garretson, SD. This event will feature field exercises and classroom instruction led by soil health experts and producers. This is a great opportunity to learn in-depth details about various soil health practices including cover crop selection, planting, termination, and grazing; fertilizer rates, building organic matter, increasing water infiltration, manure application, performing field tests, and much, much more! Evenings include Q&A sessions with experts and producers. Network with other producers and get your soil health questions answered!
A block of rooms have been reserved at the Quality Inn in Brandon, SD, at rate of $98.10 per night for attendees.
