Ventenata and Medusahead Workshop
Join us to learn identification, the latest science, management strategies, and more. Ventenata and medusahead are highly invasive annual grasses that threaten rangelands by reducing forage, degrading wildlife habitat, and increasing wildfire risk. For the past 10 years, landowners, agencies, and researchers have worked to combat these species across Wyoming. Together, partners have surveyed and treated over 400,000 acres, invested nearly $30 million in management, and advanced research and monitoring to improve long-term rangeland health.
