10:30 a.m. to 10:50 a.m., Dr. Jon Lundgren, co-founder of Blue Dasher Farm, will discuss the farm’s work.

This day-long conference will cover a variety of topics about growing small grains and the benefits of an extended rotation. Nine breakout sessions throughout the day will include sessions on integrating animals with a small grains operation, marketing small grains, the agronomy behind successfully raising small grains and more. A livestock watering system that utilizes a solar pumping system and storage tanks which gravity feeds rubber tire water tanks. Extensive rotational grazing systems which will include pasture sizes, grazing duration, and alternative fencing systems.
