Ag Friday for 3rd Graders – Friday, March 3 ∙ 9 a.m.–2 p.m. at the Washington Pavilion
Third grade students can will visit the Washington Pavilion to learn more about agriculture. Sioux Falls area educators highlighted a few 3rd grade standards that Ag Friday would connect with including:
A. Economics: Students are able to 1) explain ways producers use resources to produce goods and service and 2) identify goods and services available in the students’ communities.
B. Civics/Government: Students are able to 1) explain human relationships and roles in a community and 2) recognize government agencies and their roles in a community.
C. Geography: Students are able to identify reasons people move and how it affects their communities.
