Goat Targeted Grazing to Control Eastern Red Cedar Field Day

When: Oct. 9, 10 a.m. CDT
Where: Near Pickstown, southeast Gregory County, South Dakota

  • Watch goats in action browsing on cedars
  • Talk with Extension personnel about cedar management
  • Learn how cedars respond to goat browsing

Directions from Pickstown, S.D.: Travel all the way across to the west end of the Randall Dam. Take a left onto Toe Rd. W., then take the first right onto Ft. Randall Rd. and straight onto Co. Rd. 56. At about 3/4 of a mile turn left into the mowed parking area.
