Rangeland and Soil Health Tour – Caputa

Featuring Steve Campbell, noted Idaho cattleman and speaker.
Campbell speaks at 10:30 a.m. MDT. Lunch provided before tour continues at 1:30 p.m.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from producers and experts, ask questions, discuss strategies, and identify new soil health and rangeland management practices for your operation!
Participants will learn how:
• Plant diversity is linked to water infiltration.
• Cover crops can provide grazing and improve soil health.
• Management practices can increase plant diversity.
• Rangeland and soil health stategies can work for you.
Directions from Rapid City: On Hwy 44, 1 mile east of Caputa, turn south on Wisehart Road. Freeland House is approximately 1.5 miles at the end of Wisehart Road.
This event is free to all 2020 members of the SD Soil Health Coalition or SD Grassland Coalition. Other attendees must purchase a $25/$30 membership to attend.
